new apartment!

natalie and i found our new apartment...

it's so perfect for us, aside from the cost, which in all honesty is going to cramp our style a little, but it's worth it. it's a two-bed third floor walk-up just a block and a half from our current place - still in the north end, the neighborhood we love so much, right across from the community bocce courts, the north end pool, and facing the waterfront. we fell in love with it as soon as we walked in the door - the space is really funky, but the living room/entryway/kitchen area is huge and really unique. my favorite things about it:

- A little window looking out from the kitchen into the living room, which i think we can transform into a bar if we extend the countertop area and add bar stools.
- The SeVeN windows in the living room that look out on Boston Harbor and expose the apartment to lots of natural light

- Track lighting and a funky pendant lamp in the living room

- Big bedrooms with lots of electrical outlets

- FOUR storage closets. FOUR.

- The shape of the living room, which is impossible to describe... Kind of V-Shaped?

- Location, location, location - we're still perfectly close to all of our dear friends in the North End, and just a ten-minute walk to work!

- Roofdeck! Can't live without a space to toast our little buns in the sun...

- Still nice and close to all of the action :)
